With over 23 years’ experience in the Nigerian construction industry, Emeka Nwodu has helmed Mecks & Donwell since founding the company in 2000, leading it to become a preferred indigenous construction contractor for clients across many sectors. He is a firm believer in and practitioner of hands-on, demonstrative leadership, the principles of which permeate every aspect of Mecks & Donwell’s project execution and inspire his team of dedicated professionals to always ensure successful project completion.

Emeka has a first degree in Project Management Technology (B.Tech.), with further certifications in construction management. He is a member of the Association of Project Managers, London (APM) and the Association of Cost Engineers, London (ACostE).

KAYODE ADENIYI
Senior Project Manager

Drawing on his deep background as a Builder, Facilities Manager, and Construction Manager, Kayode Adeniyi provides creative solutions to multifaceted problems in design, construction, maintenance, and operations. He has been with Mecks & Donwell since 2002, first as Project Engineer and currently as Senior Project Manager.

Kayode is a Project Management Professional (PMP) who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Building Engineering (B.Sc.) from Obafemi Awolowo University and is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB), Project Management Institute (PMI), and PMI’s Design, Procurement & Construction SIG.

ISRAEL OLUWAYOMI AKINDELE
Senior Project Quantity Surveyor

Israel Oluwayomi Akindele has been directly responsible for all project costing and budgeting from inception to completion since 2010. His 30 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor have spanned a vast spectrum of building construction, civil engineering, and oil & gas projects.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying from the Yaba College of Technology and is a member of the Nigerian Institution of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS).
